November 18th: Let It Rain

Calmness settles in the after. It’s a soft, contemplative atmosphere I roost in. I gym, I stir quietly over the stove, I hum as I clean, I sip coffee and smile at strangers over my cafe breakfast. I revel in a sense of quiet accomplishment.

There, I’ve said it. My current muse is Shokugeki no Soma, a manga-turned-anime about a young boy named Yukihira Soma, who, in a quest to surpass his father in cooking, has enrolled in a top-tier, sometimes terrifying culinary school.
